What a great day... it was so odd to have people wish me "Happy Mother's Day." It was overwhelming at times to look at Amelia and to realize I am a mom. Eric did great with the day! When I came downstairs, there was a bouquet of tulips and presents! He, I mean Amelia...., gave me a beautiful picture frame where I can put 9 different pictures of my baby girl. It even matches the decor of the nursery. He also gave me a Willow Tree "mother and daughter" angel. I just love the line and love the one he gave me. After all that, we went to Rays on the River for brunch. Its the same place Eric and his dad used to take Betsy for Mother's Day. It was nice for us to continue that tradition. PLUS, the food was great! Then we walked down by the river where Eric snapped this picture. What a great first holiday. I look forward to MANY more.
